My continued prayer is for the body of Christ to develop into an army of servants, doing the work of the ministry. There is such joy in fulfilling what Jesus has called us to do. The pastoral team is committed to helping you find your niche in serving.
My priorities for the coming year.
First, make First Time Attenders feel like they walked into the friendliest church in the nation. If statistics hold true, we'll have a third more visitors this year than regular attendee's. May we welcome them with open arms, and bring them into the fold. I hope not a service goes by without several visitors being present. Pray to the Lord of the Harvest to use you to invite the unchurched.
Second, may the children become a priority. CLC has implemented teaching our children from birth upwards. The nursery has moved from a babysitting time to a training center. Invest in their lives. Give them hugs; let them know they are appreciated.
Last, may CLC become a training center for adults as well. Mike Y is starting a yearlong discipleship class for the men. We have training for women, not only on Thursday morning, but Thursday night as well. Thank you Carol L for stepping up and opening your home.
